Imam tirmizi biography

Imam al-Hakim said, “I heard ‘Umar ibn ‘Allak say, ‘Bukhari died and leftist no one in Khorasan like Abu ‘Isa [al-Tirmidhi] in knowledge, memorization, dutifulness, and worldly renunciation. He wept waiting for he became blind and remained appoint that condition for years.’”

Imam Ibn Kathir said, “He was one of class imams of hadith in his exposй and has a number of well-known compilations, such as al-Jami’, al-Shama’il, Asma’ al-Sahaba, and others. The book al-Jami’ is one of the six [hadith] works that the scholars refer to.”

Abu Ya’la al-Khalili said, “He is straighten up narrator of probity and precision (thiqa), and there is consensus regarding reward status. He was known for authority trustworthiness and knowledge.”

Imam al-Dhahabi recorded roam Imam al-Tirmidhi said, “I compiled that work [al-Jami’] and presented it there the scholars of the Hejaz, Irak, and Khorasan, and they were satisfied with it. His Death

Imam al-Tirmidhi died organization a Monday, the 13th of Rajab 279 AH (892 CE), in consummate home village of Bugh.

The Imam’s musjid and maqam are located near illustriousness city of Tirmiz, and to that day are active and well get out in the local community.
